While TPC Las Vegas meanders over several hundred acres of native desert, it has only 110 acres of irrigated land. Lush green parcels of manicured turf are woven throughout a rugged tapestry of arroyos, barrancas and other natural features in the southern Nevada desert. The theme of TPC Las Vegas was designed with a more natural and rugged look to create a contrast unsurpassed in Las Vegas.
Featuring Bermuda fairways that are over-seeded annually with Rye, TPC Las Vegas provides top-shelf playing conditions all throughout the year. The Pennlinks Bent Grass greens putt exceptionally true and possess an average green speed of 10.5.

Course Maintenance
Over-seeding at The Las Vegas takes place between the end of August and beginning of September. After over-seeding, carts are restricted to their paths for at least one month. Because this process involves growing new grass, the fairways are a little longer and the course is a little wetter. TPC Las Vegas is still in great shape and very playable after over-seeding. Please ask the golf shop for an update on course conditions if you are scheduled to play in September or early October.
TPC Las Vegas aerates their greens in late spring, early summer. Aerated greens usually take 2-3 weeks to return to normal. This time line can be affected by the weather. Please be sure to ask the golf shop staff for an update if you are scheduled to play in late May or early June.
