Shriners Children’s Open
TPC Summerlin is proud to be the host of the Shriners Children’s Open. The Shriners Children’s Open is the third event in the FedExCup Fall and is played annually in October. In 2023 the tournament will be held October 9th through the 15th.
The Shriners Children’s Open debuted on the PGA TOUR as the Panasonic Las Vegas Pro Celebrity Classic in 1983. The tournament has been hosted by numerous courses before settling at its current venue, TPC Summerlin. The tournament’s champions list includes some of the most recognized and in some cases, most decorated names in golf: Fuzzy Zoeller, Davis Love III, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, and Webb Simpson in 1996. At the same time, the Shriners Children’s Open has been a breakthrough tournament for several TOUR players, who earned their first victory on the PGA TOUR at TPC Summerlin including Tiger Woods.
