At TPC Craig Ranch “being green” is part of our daily regiment! We start with recycling all glass bottles, plastic bottles, and paper items: cardboard, office paper and plastic ware, etc. The recycling has caught on so well that we have our recyclable’ picked up twice a week. To aid in the reduction of energy costs and to be more energy savvy, we set our lights on motion sensors to shut off when the rooms are not occupied. To “green” our outside environment and provide clean air, the TPC maintenance staff is constantly planting new shrubs and trees around the property. “Living Green” is simpler than you can imagine and we would like to challenge other companies/corporations to follow in our footsteps and “Be Green”!
In recognition for its efforts to preserve and protect indigenous wildlife habitats while conserving natural resources, TPC Craig Ranch is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System by Audubon International. The club has also been honored with numerous environmental awards, including the prestigious Golf Digest/Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards.
