Guest Information at TPC River’s Bend
If you are visiting the TPC River’s Bend for the first time, there a few things that we would like you to know to ensure an enjoyable round of golf for all.
Proper attire for the golf course and the clubhouse consists of a collared shirt and slacks for gentlemen and blouse and slacks for women, and non metal spikes for all footwear. Bermuda length shorts are also permissible. Men are asked to remove head wear while in the clubhouse. Denim of any kind; T-shirts; flip flops; and exercise, running, bathing, and/or tennis attire are not appropriate forms of dress.
Upon your arrival at the Club, please drive to the bag drop area. An attendant will confirm your time and place your bag(s) on a golf cart. Once you have parked your vehicle, please proceed to the Golf Shop counter to check in. You will be given a receipt to give to the starter prior to beginning your round.
Day lockers are available for your convenience without charge. Please inform the locker room attendant upon your arrival and one will be assigned for your convenience throughout the day. The locker room attendant can also assist you with other valet services such as shoe shine and changing your spikes.
The Practice Facility features target greens, and we utilize two separate hitting areas that are on a rotation based on time of year and conditioning. The area in use will have hitting stations preset with practice balls for your convenience. You will also have access to the chipping and putting green immediately before and after your scheduled round of golf.
You are asked to check in with the starter at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time. This will ensure that our staff member has an opportunity to familiarize you with the hole placements, cart rules of the day, and any other information that may be pertinent to your golf course experience.
The Greater Cincinnati Golf Association (GCGA) has rated the TPC River’s Bend for a 4 ½ hour pace of play. In order to stay on pace throughout your round, we recommend the following:
- Please play from the suggested tees (refer to scorecard).
- Please stay within your targeted time for each hole.
- Please keep pace with the group in front of you at all times, irrespective of whether there is a group behind you.
- Please be organized in your club selection and play ready golf (whoever is ready takes the next shot)
- Please spot balls for other players in your group.
TPC’s are known for outstanding golf course layouts and conditioning. In addition to the efforts of our golf course maintenance staff, members and guests play an important role in our ability to be able to provide and maintain a quality product. We ask that all players take the time to replace divots and repair ball marks.
Golf Club Rentals
For your playing convenience, the Club carries Titleist, TaylorMade and Callaway rental clubs. Men’s right-handed rental sets are available in regular or stiff shaft flex while left-handed and ladies clubs are offered with regular flex only. Each rental set comes with a complimentary 4-ball pack of golf balls. Rental sets may be reserved in advance by telephoning the Golf Shop at (513) 494-2622.
There are two methods used to repair divots. If there is a piece of turf that is removed intact, the piece of turf can be carefully replaced in the divot scar and pressed firmly in place with your shoe. This is like a little piece of sod that will take root and disappear in a matter of days. Replacing the piece of turf is the preferred method for repairing a divot. However, if there is no discernible piece of turf left after the shot, please use the sand and seed mixture provided on each cart to fill and level the divot scar.
Repairing Ball Marks
Repairing ball marks immediately has proven to result in healing the damaged turf in a matter of hours. Ball marks that go unrepaired until the next morning, when we mow greens, will take as long as two weeks to grow back together and disappear. In addition, the next group of players will appreciate the smooth, unblemished playing surface when ball marks are repaired properly.
Dining & Event Services
The Club features both a la carte dining and private meeting facilities for your enjoyment. Throughout the day, we will offer a full complement of services including breakfast, lunch, dinner and on-course refreshments (based on play levels and seasonalization). If you have special requirements or dietary considerations, please telephone us in advance so that we may accommodate your requests.
Tipping is allowed in all service areas but is not required. An 18 percent gratuity is included in all food and beverage charges.
The Club accepts American Express, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, and Discover cards as well as cash for payment.
