Golf at TPC Danzante Bay

Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa at the Islands of Loreto, a destination resort on the east coast of the Baja Peninsula along the Sea of Cortes, is home to TPC Danzante Bay, a new Rees Jones-designed golf course that sprawls across a dazzling, world-class site.

Architect Rees Jones has crafted a brilliant, multi-themed golf course accented by valleys, arroyos, dunes, and foothills. Holes feature panoramic views of Danzante Bay, the Sea of Cortes, the Islands of Loreto, and the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range.

The first phase of the golf course opened in April 2016 with 11 ocean-facing holes situated near the resort’s hotel. The remaining seven holes, etched into the floor of a canyon marked by jagged cliffs, opened in December 2017. The 7,237-yard, par-72 course offers magnificent views of Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortes to the east. The majestic Sierra de la Giganta mountain range rises to the west.

The golf course serves as a prime amenity for guests and homeowners at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa, a full-service destination resort community.

The property also features a spacious practice facility, including a dedicated short game area, as well as a nine-hole putting course inspired by the famed Himalayas putting course in St Andrews, Scotland.
