The Blue Championship is one of the largest events in Northern Colorado and the only recurring PGA TOUR–managed event in the state. The tournament began in 2019, previously known as The Ascendant presented by Blue and the TPC Colorado Championship at Heron Lakes. This event has quickly become a highlight on the Korn Ferry Tour and has earned several awards over its seven-year history. The Blue Championship is owned and operated by Colorado Golf Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and has generated more than $500,000 for local charities.
