Todd Anderson, PGA
Director of Instruction
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Todd is one of the most accomplished and respected golf instructors in the world. A former collegiate golfer at the University of Alabama, Todd has dedicated his career to developing champions at every level of the game.
Todd’s accolades include being named PGA Section Teacher of the Year four times (1995, 1996, 1999, 2009), receiving the Horton Smith Award from the South Florida Section in 2003, and earning the prestigious title of 2010 National PGA of America Teacher of the Year. In 2016, he was inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in recognition of his lifelong contributions to the sport.
A regular contributor to Golf Digest, Todd is currently ranked #9 on America’s 50 Greatest Teachers list. His instructional insights have been featured in over 50 published articles in Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.
With over 50 wins on the PGA TOUR and Korn Ferry Tour, more than 100 Division I golf scholarships, and 30 collegiate All-Americans among his students, Todd’s impact on the game is profound. He has coached multiple FedExCup Champions, a U.S. Amateur Champion, and some of the game’s most recognizable names, including Billy Horschel, Brandt Snedeker, Davis Love III, Justin Leonard, and Rose Zhang.

Mike Shannon, PGA
Director of Putting Instruction
A North Carolina native and former collegiate golfer at the University of Tennessee, Mike Shannon has been a PGA Professional since 1982. His journey in golf has taken him from the fairways of Augusta National Golf Club, where he served as an Assistant Golf Professional, to the forefront of putting instruction and innovation.
Mentored by legends Claude Harmon and Charlie Epps, Mike has dedicated over 30 years to mastering the art and science of putting. He is the inventor of the Laser Optics putting system—an innovation embraced by countless professionals. His deep understanding of putter design and stroke mechanics has made him a trusted coach to over 150 Tour players.
Recognized as one of the game’s premier instructors, Mike has been named a Golf Magazine “Top 100 Teacher,” included in Golf Digest’s “Top 50 Greatest Teachers,” and honored in Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Every State 2024–25.”
Mike’s passion for teaching, combined with his innovative spirit, continues to shape the way the game is taught and played at the highest level.
Alana Swain, PGA
Lead Instructor
A native of Kenilworth, Illinois, Alana brings a championship mindset and a passion for teaching to every lesson. A standout collegiate golfer at Methodist University, she helped lead her team to an NCAA Division III National Championship and was honored four times as a Scholar Athlete and USA South Academic All-Conference selection.
Alana’s coaching journey has taken her from the prestigious Jim McLean Golf School in Miami to elite private clubs in New York, where she has worked with players of all ages and skill levels. With thousands of hours of coaching experience, she is known for her ability to connect with students and elevate their game through personalized, insightful instruction.
Her dedication to the craft has earned her national recognition, including being named one of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers in America 2025–2026” and one of the “Best Teachers in Every State 2024–2025.”
Whether working with beginners or seasoned players, Alana’s approach is rooted in passion, precision, and a deep love for the game.
Jordan Dempsey, PGA
Lead Instructor
A Jacksonville, Florida native, Jordan brings a wealth of experience as both a high-level competitor and a respected instructor. As a collegiate golfer at the University of Mississippi, Jordan earned NCAA All-American honors and was named to the 2005 Southeastern Conference All-SEC First Team and the PING Golf Coaches Association of America Division I All-America Team.
Following his collegiate success, Jordan played professionally for five years, gaining firsthand insight into the demands of elite competition. His instructional journey was shaped by over 12 years of mentorship under renowned coach Todd Anderson, influencing his approach to both playing and teaching.
Jordan has coached at the highest level, including a PGA TOUR win with Chris Stroud. His dedication to player development has earned him multiple honors, including the 2020 North Florida PGA Northern Chapter Teacher of the Year and the 2021 Player Development Award. Most recently, he was recognized by Golf Digest as one of “The Best Teachers in Every State 2024–2025.”

Andrew Lanahan, PGA
Short Game Specialist
A Jacksonville, Florida native, Andrew brings a competitive edge and a sharp eye for short game performance to his role as a golf instructor. A former collegiate golfer at Louisiana State University, Andrew was recognized as First-Team All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association and earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors for his achievements on and off the course.
After college, Andrew played professionally for five years before beginning his teaching career at The University Club in Baton Rouge in 2010. Today, he serves as the Short Game Specialist, where he is known for his ability to help players sharpen their scoring skills and lower their scores.
In recognition of his impact as a coach and mentor, Andrew was named the 2025 North Florida PGA Northern Chapter Teacher & Coach of the Year. He brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for helping golfers play their best.
Scott Schuster
Club Fitter
An Army veteran with over 20 years of experience in professional club fitting, Scott is a trusted expert in equipment optimization for golfers of all levels. As a Certified Master Fitter, Scott brings deep knowledge of all major equipment brands and a passion for precision to every fitting session.
Specializing in data-driven fitting, Scott utilizes cutting-edge technology—including TrackMan and Foresight—to analyze swing dynamics and fine-tune equipment for maximum performance. He works closely with both professionals and amateur players, customizing clubs to match each golfer’s unique swing characteristics, goals, and skill level.
Scott’s mission is simple: help golfers gain distance, improve consistency, and enhance feel through expertly tailored equipment. His commitment to performance and detail makes him an invaluable resource for players looking to elevate their game.
Alex Bennett
Director of Athletic Performance
A former collegiate golfer at Flagler University, Alex brings a unique blend of competitive experience and advanced athletic training to his role as Director of Athletic Performance. After playing professionally, Alex transitioned into coaching following injuries that sparked his passion for helping others recover, prevent injury, and perform at their best.
Alex is a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America and holds a degree in Corrective Exercise Specialization from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also TPI Level 3 certified, with additional Junior Level 2 certification, equipping him to work with athletes across all stages of development.
Today, Alex works with multiple players on both the PGA TOUR and Korn Ferry Tour, helping them optimize movement, build strength, and maintain peak performance through personalized training programs rooted in science and experience.
Sophie Bargeron, PT, DPT
Performance Coach & Doctor of Physical Therapy
Sophie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a specialized focus on golf-specific rehabilitation and performance. A former collegiate golfer at Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern – Savannah), Sophie combines her firsthand playing experience with clinical expertise to help athletes move better, recover faster, and perform at their highest level.
TPI Certified (Level 1), Sophie emphasizes injury prevention and return-to-sport protocols tailored to the unique demands of golf. She integrates physical therapy with performance coaching to create individualized programs for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
With experience working with junior, collegiate, and Tour professionals, Sophie is passionate about optimizing movement patterns, enhancing recovery, and supporting long-term athletic health through evidence-based care.
Kyle Vassallo
Performance Coach
A graduate of Florida State University, Kyle is a certified strength and conditioning coach specializing in golf-specific athletic development. With a strong foundation in biomechanics and individualized performance programming, Kyle helps golfers build the physical tools needed to compete at the highest level.
TPI Certified (Level 2), Kyle focuses on power development, mobility training, and speed generation. He works closely with players on the PGA TOUR and Korn Ferry Tour to enhance stability, increase clubhead speed, and improve overall performance.
Kyle’s approach is rooted in science and tailored to each athlete’s unique needs, making him a trusted resource for golfers of all levels—from juniors to Tour professionals—looking to elevate their game through targeted physical training.
