TPC Sawgrass is honored to have one of the best teams in the country serving our guests.

Director of Food and Beverage, Tyler Hagin
In April 2011, Tyler joined the TPC Network and played a key role in a highly successful Food & Beverage repositioning effort at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. In 2012, Tyler moved to Atlanta to become the Director of Food & Beverage at TPC Sugarloaf. After his year and a half stint down south, Tyler moved home to Maryland in the spring of 2014, where he took over as the Food & Beverage Director at TPC Potomac. During his tenure, he was named Assistant General Manager of the property and Senior F&B Director for the TPC Network, where he supports national initiatives.

 

 

Executive Chef, Azhar Mohammad
Chef Azhar joins TPC Sawgrass from AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas where he served as executive chef, as well as regional executive chef for 12 additional properties in the brand’s portfolio. Prior, he gained extensive experience at Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C and several Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott properties, including Ritz-Carlton hotels in New Orleans, Grand Cayman, St. Louis, San Juan and the JW Marriott in Dubai. Chef Azhar brings more than 20 years of global experience in the hospitality industry and will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of food and pastry production for the club’s restaurants, lounges and banquet rooms.

Director of Hospitality, David Bacon
David was the former Assistant Food & Beverage Director at TPC Wakefield. He came to the TPC network in 2005 and supported his first Players Championship in 2007. Prior to the network he was the Assistant GM at Mortons of Chicago Steakhouse Beverly Hills California. His passion for people and food is what he’s known for.
