#MondayMoves The Champions course. The par-4 14th hole.
Only 429 yard off the tee and a narrow runway of fairway. Makes for a challenging tee shot. How would you play this tee shot?

it all depends on how skilled of a player you are. you can hit driver but you have to stay right off the tee so that you have more favorable approach shot. If you hit your driver a long ways then you will want to hit your 3 wood so that you stay in front of the bunker. If I remember right this hole is not friendly to you if you dont get it into the fairway so that is the most important part!

I play Blues and its about 410 according to my book! I hit driver @ the right waste visable from tee just right of the fairrway bunker! After a 260 driver, I usually have a 9i to 7i in depending on angle and pin! Have to be mindful of front vs back pin.

Depends on the wind, but usually I play 4 iron to keep the bunker out of play, then an 8 iron in

3 wood 9 iron

3 Iron off Tee, 4 Iron approach, chip off of fringe, and one putt for Par...Next

All depends on how far out that bunker is.

Knock down driver....left to right:)

I played 3wood 6 iron... got par

Driver, aim at the right side of the bunker.

Champions Course

An Ideal Desert Golf Experience

The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale

Rivaling its famous sister course in both beauty and playability, the Randy Heckenkemper-designed Champions Course offers an ideal desert golf experience. Built on the former site of TPC Scottsdale’s Desert Course, the layout was completely revamped in 2007 to flow seamlessly within the naturally rugged terrain, meandering between natural ravines and through picturesque foothills.

The course was crafted to balance strategy with design, so as not to favor any one type of play. Each hole can be played a multitude of ways – providing golfers of all skill levels with a challenging experience that can be significantly different each time they play. A quartet of challenging finishing holes adds an acclaimed ending stretch that promises to leave even the best players with goose bumps.
