Hole #18 on Champions course. Water on the left and desert on the right. You are 150 yards out. With the pin front and center. What club are you going to hit? #WisdomWednesday

Full 9 iron... should land just on the front, check up and release a little.

Baby fade with an 8iron. I can smell the desert air and visualize Camelback mountain....best course and always in amazing shape!!

The correct answer is a 7 iron hit into the champions grille to grab a cocktail 😜

Played this exact shot last year, just at dusk.. Easy 8 iron to within 10 ft to end a good round on a great course. 🏜⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Cut 8 deep in the back right quadrant to settle up nice with steep attack on the swing.

Easy 9..... result would be “on the stick”

My favorite shot - a knockdown 8-iron that comes in low, skips once at the pin, then spins back. Safely on and with a little bit of luck, rolls up tight.

nice little 9 iron.

Smooth 8. Looking awesome

Wedge ....Wedge.... 3 putts . 🤪

Nice Solid PW

Hole #17 a 583 yard par 5 on the Champions course. You have 240 yards out for your second shot. The pin is front right and next to one of the deepest bunkers on the Champions course. What do you do? Layup? Go for it?🤔 Let us know!

Wait 10 minutes for the green to clear... Top a 3 wood 140 yards down the fairway. Then stuff a wedge tight for birdie👍

Go for it!!! 3 Wood cut off left side of green as it slopes right anyway!

Go for it with my utility iron. Always have a draw with it so I wouldn’t be worried about a bunker on the right side

If I can hit a 340-yard drive I'm probably playing across the street. With 200,000 people watching.

Lay up..........TWICE! 😄

The course is looking good out there!

Love this course!

Go big or go home

Lay up 😎👍

Lay up unfortunately for me. But it has spawned a few birdies ⛳️🏌️‍♂️😎

Depends on the situation. I know you made one but what about the lie and wind and things I don't know in this scenario? That would be the biggest ? of all.

That would mean my drive is 343 .. if I’m lucky enough for that then go for it in 2... 5W and probably either be just short right or on the fringe.

Go for it

Gorgeous!!!

Who hits it 340 then doesn’t go for it with only 240 left? 🤣🤣

Pay $410 in March and you can do whatever you wish!

Always go for it. Eagle putt baby!!

Go for it. Depending on wind, either 5 wood (with the wind), or 3 wood (into it).

I go with a 2 hybrid, 235 with a slight cut allowing it to role another 5 yards and dunk for 2. Any questions?

Just don’t duck hook it and hit my condo on the 9th hole! Everyday I get hit by a rookie.

Go!

Lay up

That must've been a Josh Duprie drive 🚀

Psh. Go for it.

19 degree hybrid

Anyone 18 years or older may purchase a golf ball. The person with the numbered golf ball either in the hole or closest to the hole, will win a grand prize valued at $15,000. There will also be prizes for second and third place. Sales will be limited to 300 golf balls.

Birdies for the Brave is a military outreach initiative proudly supported by the PGA TOUR that is dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players and corporate partners to raise millions of dollars for military homefront groups that provide critical programs and services to meet the specialized needs of wounded warriors and military families.

Birdies for the Brave was originally created by TOUR player Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, to support troops injured during combat. For each birdie or eagle made by Phil throughout the season, a contribution of $100 for a birdie or $500 for an eagle is made to Homes For Our Troops and Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Birdies for the Brave has grown to include a variety of military outreach efforts:

  • Patriots’ Outpost military hospitality chalets
  • Military celebrations held during PGA TOUR tournaments
  • Letter-writing campaigns for the troops
  • Distribution of care packages to troops stationed abroad
  • Fundraising events conducted at TPCs nationwide.

Birdies for the Brave fundraising benefits eight national military homefront groups that are approved by the Department of Defense:

  • United Through Reading
  • Special Operations Warrior Foundation
  • Homes for our Troops
  • Navy Seal Foundation
  • K9s for Warriors
  • Troops First Foundation
  • Military Warriors Support Foundation
  • Operation Homefront
  • Green Beret Foundation
