I am, many great days of golf!

See you soon ⛳️🏌️😎

Always ready for a great day of golf! Thanks for having both golf courses in great shape!

Played in Southeastern Pa today in short sleeves. Although it wasn’t as nice as it is there it worked.

TPC Scottsdale Birdies for the Brave Event

Rather than hosting a golf tournament, TPC Scottsdale will be holding a helicopter golf ball drop at the Stadium Course on Memorial Day.

Monday, May 29th, 2017
12:30pm
Golf balls will be sold for $100 each*

Anyone 18 years or older may purchase a golf ball. The person with the numbered golf ball either in the hole or closest to the hole, will win a grand prize valued at $15,000. There will also be prizes for second and third place. Sales will be limited to 300 golf balls.

Proceeds benefit Military Warriors Support Foundation and Navy Seal Foundation.

To purchase a golf ball in support of TPC Scottsdale’s Birdies for the Brave Ball Drop, please contact Mark Kruse at 480-585-4334 x 248 or markkruse@pgatourtpc.com.

Birdies for the Brave is a military outreach initiative proudly supported by the PGA TOUR that is dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players and corporate partners to raise millions of dollars for military homefront groups that provide critical programs and services to meet the specialized needs of wounded warriors and military families.

Birdies for the Brave was originally created by TOUR player Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, to support troops injured during combat. For each birdie or eagle made by Phil throughout the season, a contribution of $100 for a birdie or $500 for an eagle is made to Homes For Our Troops and Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Birdies for the Brave has grown to include a variety of military outreach efforts:

  • Patriots’ Outpost military hospitality chalets
  • Military celebrations held during PGA TOUR tournaments
  • Letter-writing campaigns for the troops
  • Distribution of care packages to troops stationed abroad
  • Fundraising events conducted at TPCs nationwide.

Birdies for the Brave fundraising benefits eight national military homefront groups that are approved by the Department of Defense:

  • United Through Reading
  • Special Operations Warrior Foundation
  • Homes for our Troops
  • Navy Seal Foundation
  • K9s for Warriors
  • Troops First Foundation
  • Military Warriors Support Foundation
  • Operation Homefront
  • Green Beret Foundation
  • Operation Shower
  • Disabled Sports USA
