Military Special Offer
As part of Birdies for the Brave, military members can play TPC San Antonio at military-only rates, with specified tee times available 24-hours in advance (subject to availability). All military guests must show a valid military ID – either a Common Access Card (CAC) for active duty and Reserve members, or a military retiree card – at check in on the day of play to receive the $115+tax playing fee on The Oaks and The Canyons courses. Non-military accompanied guests will be at $159+tax. Tee times are available anytime Monday – Friday or after 12:00 pm on weekends with only one foursome per last name.
In addition to normal summer maintenance for both golf courses (course closure dates provided below), we will also be completing a couple of improvement projects. The Canyons course will be undergoing a bunker restoration project that should be completed towards the middle of September. For the safety of the contractors and to help expedite the work, one hole will be closed. In addition, there may be a couple of holes where the bunkers will be played as ground under repair. We will have a bonus hole open on the practice facility so all guests will still be able to complete 18 holes.
Also, we will be completing a greens re-capture project on The Oaks course in the month of June. While this will not have an impact on your ability to play The Oaks course, you will notice some sod work being completed near the edges of some of the greens. There will be a handful of days in the month of June (TBD) where one hole may have a temporary green in play.

This is a great opportunity for military members to play one of two spectacular championship golf courses at TPC San Antonio, which are usually reserved exclusively for club members and guests of the AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, at specially reduced pricing. They include The Oaks Course, which was designed by World Golf Hall of Famer Greg Norman; and the The Canyons course, which was designed by iconic golf course architect Pete Dye. Unique in character but consistent in quality, both courses were named among the “Best New Courses You Can Play in America” when they debuted in 2010.
