TPC SAWGRASS WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF
Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. – TPC Sawgrass is pleased to welcome Azhar Mohammad as its new executive chef. Azhar brings more than 20 years of global experience in the hospitality industry and will be responsible for planning and managing the culinary operations for the club’s restaurants, lounges and banquet facility.
Chef Azhar joins TPC Sawgrass from AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas where he served as executive chef, as well as regional executive chef for 12 additional properties in the brand’s portfolio. Prior, he gained extensive experience at Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C and several Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott properties, including Ritz-Carlton hotels in New Orleans, Grand Cayman, St. Louis, San Juan and the JW Marriott in Dubai. Chef Azhar has a degree in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in India.
