The TPC Leadership Team and Executives

TPC executives represent decades of rich experience in professional golf. We’re proud to introduce our organization’s leaders:

Leonard D. Brown, Jr.,
Chief, Global Business Ventures

Len serves as the Chief, Global Business Ventures to the PGA TOUR. In his current role, Len oversees the TOUR’s Championship Management business, Golf Course Properties/TPC Network, PGA TOUR Superstores, Merchandising, Licensing, and current and future Golf Investments (such as TGL), bringing his extensive experience, strategic vision and innovation to these areas.
Previous to his current role, Len served as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President – Licensing & Merchandising to the PGA TOUR and was responsible for all legal matters impacting the TOUR, including Television, Tournament Affairs, Domestic and International Law, Copyright Law, Computer Law, Internet law, Licensing & Merchandising, Corporation Law, and Litigation
Before coming to the TOUR, Len was counsel to the Atlanta Braves and their four minor league affiliates. Areas of practice included salary arbitration, stadium and player operations, sponsorship and marketing deals, vendor and supplier agreements, and related team and television operations matters. In addition, Len was counsel to all of Turner Sports’ properties including PGA Interactive, NASCAR Interactive, and the NBA on TNT.
Prior to joining the Braves/Turner, Len worked at the law firm of Williams and Connolly in Washington, D.C. where he assisted in the representation of athletes such as Grant Hill, Tim Duncan, Shane Battier, Raghib “Rocket” Ismail and Dominique Dawes.
Len is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association and a director on the Board of Feeding Northeast Florida. Len and his wife, April, have five children – Avery (30), Corey (28), Haviland (24), Joshua (15) and Zoe (13).
Len attended Penn State University, where he walked on to the varsity football team, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in May 1988 and received his MBA (summa cum laude) in May 1994. Len received his J.D. in May 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law. He is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (the Boule).

Jim Triola
Chief Operating Officer, Golf Course Properties

Jim Triola joined the PGA TOUR in 1990 with an impressive background in corporate and private law, including a post at Marriott Corporation and positions with leading Washington, DC-based law firms.

In his current role, Mr. Triola oversees the legal and business affairs associated with the development and operation of TPCs. He also manages the full scope of documents associated with TPC development and operations, including business formation, financing, conveyance agreements, and management and license agreements.

Mr. Triola is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the National Law Center at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is also a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia Bar Associations.

 

Vic Aliprando Jr.
Senior Vice President TPC Operations
Golf Course Properties – TPC Management

Vic Aliprando brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success in golf course management. He began his career within the TPC Network in 2002 at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Ga., where he served as Head Professional before earning promotions to Director of Golf and General Manager. In 2012, Aliprando transferred to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., as the Club Manager. He was promoted from TPC Sawgrass in 2013 to Senior Director of Business Development and then Vice President of Business Development for the TPC Network.

A graduate of Mississippi State University, Aliprando holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and has completed the PGA Golf Management (PGM) Program. His professional journey began as the Head Professional at Spencer T. Olin Community Golf Course in Alton, Illinois. Additionally, he was General Manager at Silverthorn Country Club in Brooksville, Fla., The Carolina Club and Woodlake Resort & Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C.
