PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (March, 2020) – Of more than 1,500 employees, Dulce Muniz of TPC Southwind has been named the 2019 recipient of the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network A. James Clark Award.
Nominees embodied a commitment to excellence by upholding the values of the TPC Network and the ideals of the PGA TOUR, while also demonstrating the same strong work ethic and inspirational leadership qualities of Mr. A. James Clark, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clark Enterprises and longtime member of the PGA TOUR’s Golf Course Properties Advisory Board. Throughout her almost 14-year career at TPC Southwind, Dulce has continued Clark’s legacy by going above and beyond her required job description to deliver excellence. Her commitment to quality and consistency often surpasses what is asked of her.
“Dulce is an incredibly valuable member of our team at TPC Southwind,” said TPC Southwind General Manager Burt Baine. “She is indispensable in maintaining communications with our Golf Course Maintenance Team Members whose primary language is not English. She does an exemplary job of records maintenance and her management of invoices and billings is always flawless and accurate.”
In her current role as the administrative assistant for the golf course maintenance team, Dulce’s dedication to service sets the bar high for all staff. Through assisting in translation and communication between teams, winning Employee of the Month and leaving an uplifting spirit in the clubhouse, Dulce has made her mark at TPC Southwind. The A. James Clark Award solidifies the Network’s appreciation for her dedication.
TPC Southwind is the PGA TOUR’s only private golf club in the state of Tennessee and home to the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. TPC Southwind boasts a par-70, 7,244-yard layout designed by noted architect Ron Prichard with PGA TOUR players Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller serving as consultants.
