LAS VEGAS, Nev. – TPC Las Vegas, the home of professional golf in Las Vegas, celebrates the return of Matt Henderson as Director of Instruction.

With more than 15 years of experience, Henderson brings a valuable combination of teaching and coaching skills to the club, employing the latest technology to help students reach their maximum learning potential. Previous clientele include PGA TOUR professionals, top amateurs, elite collegiates from his coaching years at the University of Tennessee, and high school golfers from across the country.

His success has been marked by consecutive years of awards and accolades, earning such recognitions as Southern Nevada PGA Teacher of the Year, Southwest Section PGA Player Development Award, Golf Digest “Best in State” and UNLV PGA Golf Professional of the Year. Henderson attributes his success to those who guided his way, including renowned instructors such as Dave Pelz, who he shadowed from 2006 through 2009, Kevin Weeks, Mike Bender, Todd Sones, Dan Campbell and Dave Phillips.

“It’s an honor to return to TPC Las Vegas,” said Henderson. “Glad to be back home after a long journey. I look forward to offering instructional programs for years to come and getting everyone in Las Vegas excited about the game.”
