CINCINATTI – May 26, 2021 – TPC River’s Bend, an Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf course 25 miles northeast of Cincinnati, is proud to announce it will host the Forme Open, part of the Forme Tour, slated to take place on Aug. 18-21, 2021.

The Forme Tour is a new U.S.-based tour created for non-Canadian PGA TOUR Canada members as a result of COVID-19 restrictions at the U.S.-Canadian border.

“The pandemic has provided much uncertainty this past year, so we are incredibly proud to be part of a solution to many of the players who would not have had the chance to compete,” said Geoff Gilliand, general manager of TPC River’s Bend. “This really is an exciting lineup, and we look forward to being one of the host courses.”

For 2021, non-Canadian members will be given access to the Forme Tour, allowing them the ability to compete in a series of eight 72-hole events between June and September – providing a path to the Korn Ferry Tour for the season’s top finishers and also offers Official World Golf Ranking points.

TPC River’s Bend’s par-72, 7,180-yard championship layout was crafted to blend harmoniously with its surroundings on a hillside overlooking the historic Little Miami River. The golf course meanders through corridors of mature hardwoods and whispering creeks. Winding playing routes, picturesque waterfalls and gentle elevation changes create a stunning backdrop for a memorable test of golf. The design of the golf course preserves natural habitats and serves as a refuge for numerous wildlife species, earning it recognition as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International. While challenging enough for professionals, the course offers multiple sets of tees, including a set of family tees for novice golfers. Each of the course’s 18 holes were meticulously crafted to balance playability with strategy and challenge. TPC River’s Bend is the former home to both the PGA TOUR Champions (Kroger Classic from 2002 to 2004) and the Korn Ferry Tour (Chiquita Classic from 2010 to 2015). The golf course at TPC River’s Bend also boasts an impressive, 12-acre PGA TOUR-caliber practice facility which allows golfers of all calibers to learn and enjoy at one of the most elite private golf courses in the state.
